Shooting History
I have a wide knowledge of all matters associated with “Shooting, both Clays & Game” and have been actively involved in both for close on forty years.
I have been instructing on a formal and regular basis since 1980. This has involved giving instruction at a number of local Game Shooting syndicates, as well as one to one instruction to both beginners and the more experienced on the clay shooting field.
On a personal front, I have won the Lancashire Sporting Championship on a couple of occasions as well as representing the North of England Sporting Team on a number of occasions. But my main claim to fame and proudest moment was winning the English Open Sporting Championship Parent & Child event in 1996 with son Michael.
I have also been writing for Clay Shooting magazine “Northern Beat” for the last four years. Now semi-retired it is my intention to offer professional, save shooting instruction to the clay shooter on a regular basis at a number of Shooting Grounds in the North of England, as well as being available for group instruction at the ground of your choice. I will also be offering an in field loading and instruction service to the game shooter.
